She hops down and goes poking around. "Antennae, wings... they wanted me to be a jet or a boat."

*Kickback frowns* Meh I suppose a jet would be easier for travelling...*he trails off* Hmm did they object strongly or just try to advise you otherwise?

"The first, at first. But then they cut off my allowance and put their foot down." She stops in front of a shelf and frowns absently at its contents.

*Kickback's antennae twitch* Why would they do that? Did they give a reason? *He wouldn't mind so much if they had a good reason for it; but otherwise he doesn't quite understand. He smirks as she looks at his shelf. Of all the shelves to pick she would have to pick hit 'toy' shelf. The place where he sticks all the harmless gadgets that Bombshell made in an attempt to keep him amused*

"They said that the modification so that I could use organic fuel was too dangerous, and that all my upgrades were just a fad and a waste of credit." She pokes at one of the little doodads, her antennae swept back as she remembers. "I guess they were worried about me... but saying that you didn't even remember I existed was just mean. I left."

*Kickback nods a little* Well I guess it would be only I can't remember when I got mine.

*he frowns a little* So it's your body isn't it. You should look how you want to look. *he nods* Yeah I can see why they'd be worried; insecticons aren't exactly the safest kind of bot to be.

*His optics flare crimson in anger at that* Then they don't know me very well do they? I might have lost my memory once; but I don't plan on losing it again. Besides how can I forget the little sparkling who enjoyed sitting on my head and pulling my antennae hmmm?

"They wanted me to be able to get good jobs and all that." She looks down and away. "They weren't bad; they just didn't understand."

Then he says the last part and she's crying quietly.

Well I suppose I can understand that *he conceeds still a little angry* No...very few do even understand.

*seeing her cry Kickback walks over and gently hugs her to his frame* ssssh; what's wrong? *he asks in an almost soothing tone*

She shakes her head and tries to hide the tears, angry at her reaction but unable to stop it. "Nothing."

*Kickback frowns* Come on you can tell me *he hugs her a little tighter* Whatever it is I can't help unless you tell me.

"Nothing." She snuggles absently. "I just missed you. I'm being dumb."

*Kickback snuggles back* That's not nothing and you're not being dumb.

Katydid; you're very important to me and whatever I say to other decepticons never believe otherwise. Okay? *he holds her close to try to calm her down*

And that has her crying again. Being away from him was stressful, and she's only now realizing how much.

*Kickback just hugs her and starts to rub her head soothingly* Sssh it's okay.

She nods, but all she can do otherwise is hide her face on him and cling. That she's actually here is finally sinking in, and all the years when she was little and used to wake up crying for him are catching up with her.

*Kickback just holds her close and allows her to cling. He's waiting for her to calm down not really sure what's going on butis being as patient as he can*

She finally sucks air through her intakes and lets go, scrubbing her face. "Sorry."

*Kickback smiles* Hey you have nothing to be sorry about. You feeling better now? *he seems a little unsure of himself; not too sure how to help*

"Yeah." She grins at him. "Everything's good now."

*Kickback grins back* Good! I'm glad...well comeon then I'd better show you everything else I guess.

That gets a bounce. "What are we waiting for... hey, do we have anything to eat?"

*Kickback grins* Absolutely nothing. Just remember this is where you can find me if you ever need anything during the night okay? *and with that he takes her hand* Yup we have the entire swamp and a few fields outside of it. Depends on what you prefer...if you want energon we have a little of that but normally we just eat things raw. It's easier that way.

"Okay." She grins, but then scowls. "I don't have that eating upgrade yet."

Oh it's okay we'll get Bombshell to upgrade you later...for now I'll give you some of my share. I don't have a lot but it should tie you over 'till we get you sorted out. *he replied smiling*

"I'm not a big eater." She grins at him, antennae twitching happily.
