Future'Bot's verse. Amy's apartment. Day two of the squishy Sludge LOL.

Amy rolls over, then sits up and looks around before hopping up out of her bed. It's the work of a moment to fold up the couch and stow her bedding, and then she's brushing her hair as she tiptoes over on small bare feet to the big air mattress that's on the open floor space by the balcony door.

"Sludge?" she says softly, sitting on the side of it carefully so that she doesn't rock him. "Are you awake? Do you want breakfast?"

Sludge nods excitedly and when he thinks she isn't looking, takes a lick of the syrup. "Sweet!"

She glances over her shoulder again and sputters with laughter. "Use a spoon!"

"Erk!" Sludge makes a guilty face and puts down the bottle in embarassment. "Sorry!"

She just grins and walks over to hand him a teaspoon, then goes on tiptoe to offer him a kiss on the cheek.

He blushes and takes the spoon with a grin. Then he picks the bottle back up and starts spooning syrup in his mouth in between toasting the waffles.

Breakfast is soon ready and heaped on serving dishes in the middle of Amy's tiny table. She grabs the datapad that holds the morning's mail and sets it by her plate, then sits and grins at Sludge. "Do you still have room to eat?"

"Yeah!" He says already shoveling in a mouthful of scrambles. "Always room for Amy food!"

She laughs and mentally gives thanks for the food so as to not embarrass him, then helps herself from the serving plates and picks up the datapad. The first bit of mail makes her frown slightly with confusion. -Why am I getting a notice of a divorce finalization? I've never been married....-

She reads further, her brows raising with surprise, then switches to the next mail and nearly gasps as she reads herself declared the original twin and mother to Rae and Dan.

The datapad sinks to the table as she slowly lowers the forkful of food that she'd been holding halfway to her mouth and stares in shock and even dismay. -But... I was just getting my life in order....-

Sludge blinks up from his food and reaches across the table to touch Amy's hand. "Amy? What wrong?"

She starts at his touch, then wordlessly offers him the datapad.

Sludge frowns. "Amy, me can't read this well...you explain? Why you get children now?"

"They... the people in charge... have decided that I'm the original twin... because of my memories. Era must have told them...." She gives him a bewildered look, still not fully processing it.

He gets up from his seat to kneel beside her and hug her. "You still married too?"
