Future'Bot's verse. Amy's apartment. Day two of the squishy Sludge LOL.

Amy rolls over, then sits up and looks around before hopping up out of her bed. It's the work of a moment to fold up the couch and stow her bedding, and then she's brushing her hair as she tiptoes over on small bare feet to the big air mattress that's on the open floor space by the balcony door.

"Sludge?" she says softly, sitting on the side of it carefully so that she doesn't rock him. "Are you awake? Do you want breakfast?"

"Are you sure?" she asks softly, pushing away a little so she can see his face.

Sludge smiles softly and nods. "Mean it. Me love you, Amy."

After a moment of concentration he adds. "I will make you a house."

"Will you be there?" Her voice is nearly a whisper.

He kisses her then. "Yes."

She blinks tears, then hides her face against his chest and just clings for a moment, still feeling overwhelmed but a little more steady now.
