Blackout scratches at a nearly healed wield, then blinks at Scorponok where he's passed out cold in a crack in her armor before making a sound of content boredom and looking over at the sand pile that Hormah's vanished into. There's absolutely nothing going on, nothing to destroy anywhere near (or that she feels like destroying, anyway), but the big femme's happy to just sit and watch the nothing happen for now.

The sandpile spouts slightly and then beeps before falling silent, and she cocks an optic at it and snorts before leaning back and looking at the sky.

Sandstorm is go! And when it settles Hormah's vanished again.

Blackout's optics go back to Snowcat and narrow. "What?"

She's not sure what he means by 'scraplet'.

Eeek! The zambonis regroup and peer at the sand again, considering options.

Snowcat points at the place-where-Hormah-was. "It ain't a Mini-Con, it's short and none too bright, and it likes you. I'm thinking scraplet, right?"

"She's smarter than she lets on. And she's programmed to obey me." Her arms fold across her chest as she scans the sandpile. Then she blinks and scans again.

The rookie's not in there... so where?

There's a PINpoint flash behind Snowcat and the paintball gun is raised.

"So she's still a Mini-Con, right?" Snowcat folds his arms obliviously. The zambonis are too busy looking at the sand pile to warn him.

Blackout rolls her optics. "She's hybrid technology. And yes, half of it is Minicon."

Paintball to the aft is go! Hormah sniggers and PINs away again.

Snowcat whirls, his missile launchers coming up automatically. "Hey! You gonna let it get away with this?"

The zambonis look about for Hormah, so that they may seek vengeance for their slight against their family's honor.

Blackout is laughing as her minion appears just in front of her. "You're the one who called her stupid. Nothing made from me could be stupid."

Or nothing cram-programmed with her whole library, anyway.

"Take it from me, stupid things come from less stupid things." And Snowcat gestures at the zambonis, which are currently attempting to tackle Hormah at full speed.

"Just because you can't program your minions properly." She steadies the rookie with an absent hand on the head as three clanks echo.

"Y'alright, b'y?" Hormah looks down at them, then wriggles free and goes for another pounce.

"Program? Who programmed?" Snowcat pats his windshield. "You think I actually wanted those scraplets?"

They seem to be quite all right, as they're giggling as they try to cling to her.

"Neither did I want that one, but since I got her I put her to good use."

Hormah is now gleefully blistering the air with profanity... in perfect Decepticon.

Blackout thinks she should have watched what Rollbar and Armorhide were teaching the kid.

The zambonis use their child-like ability to detect cursing and immediately attempt to repeat her. Some of the words are slurred but the meaning's there.

Snowcat grins at them. "Can't put those things to do much useful, but they make good entertainment some nights."

Blackout watches as Hormah obligingly repeats herself so that the smaller mechs can get the words right. "If they're so useless why did you bother keeping them?"

A sleepy chitter sounds from her storage compartment, and she sends comforting thoughts to her symbiont. //Sleep. Nothing interesting going on.//

"Cause if I went to all the trouble of playing Alien with 'im I figure I'm entitled to them. And people'd get mad if we killed 'em."

The zambonis obediently repeat, getting it better this time.

She tilts her head to look down at him. "Playing alien?"

And... Hormah's hand shoots out and she's... got one?

"Y'know, the movie? Chestbursters and all that?" Snowcat makes a squishy sort of noise and pantomimes something exploding from his windshield. "Where'd you think they came from?"

She's got one and it's wriggling like a caught salmon in her hand.

Blackout stares at him for a long moment, then grumbles and shudders her rotors. "Hormah just appeared."

Hormah turns the little guy over and pokes him in the belly, her optics bright with interest as she scans him.

"...oh." Disappointed Snowcat is disappointed. He'd been wondering where she'd put them. "You just got lucky. No fair. I had to carry those things around for a while month."

The zamboni giggles helplessly and revs its little wheels.

"The slagging LOL ripped a chunk out of my spark and scanned me about as carefully as a comet lands...." She stops and stares some more. "That's disgusting."

Hormah chuckles and sits up, not noticing if one of the others might be sitting on her as she gently tweaks those wheels and then examines the missile launchers.

"No kidding. Hooked up to me with tubes and everything, I had to go on double rations and we couldn't get 'em out." Snowcat makes a disgusted noise.

The remaining zambonis are clambering on to her and watching their brother squeal with glee.

"I think I'm going to purge...." Except that she didn't charge on energon, but from the sign... so there's nothing in her tank anyway.

"Ye can't change, b'y?" Hormah turns him over again and frowns at his front end.

Snowcat yelps and takes a few steps back. "Not on me!"

The zamboni wiggles its front bumper. "Uh-huh. We're just like this."

Blackout laughs at that. "Why not? Add a little pink to your green."

"Well 'at bites." Hormah turns the zamboni around and studies him from all angles again, deedlebeeping to herself thoughtfully.

"Hey, green looks good on me." Snowcat turns around and brushes the paint from his aft. "Demmy's green and he's on me some of the time, ain't he?"

"Pew pew!" Three wiggles his missile launchers again, trying to shoot at her.

"How the slag should I know where he is?" She looks away to scan the surrounding area.

Hormah laughs. "Pea shooters."
