A darn good place to hunt and fish

Logan looks around as they appear on the bank of a wide, tree-shadowed river, his senses reaching out to find any trace of danger that may be lurking nearby. Feeling content that there was none, he looked at the two kids clinging to him and listening to the silence all around them and chuckled. "Y'kin let go now."

(What's that?) She looks down and gives kittyAlec a quick cheekrub, then looks back at the bird.

"It's a bird of some kind." Alec states nuzzling kittyAlec.

(Bird?? Wow.) She sits down to watch it. (Different.)

"Fish anybody?" Logan shakes like a dog, then holds up the big catfish.

"Yeah, a bird."

He blinks and looks over at Logan giving a slight smile. "Looks good."

"Want it like this? Or cooked?" He checks to make sure his rocks are still in his pocket.

"Cooked, please."

Logan nods and wades out of the river, boots squelching, then drops the fish and sits down to empty the water out of them.

And those cat eyes watch him a moment before going back to watching the bird that was watching them.
