A darn good place to hunt and fish

Logan looks around as they appear on the bank of a wide, tree-shadowed river, his senses reaching out to find any trace of danger that may be lurking nearby. Feeling content that there was none, he looked at the two kids clinging to him and listening to the silence all around them and chuckled. "Y'kin let go now."

She laughes and drops a handful of leaves at him, then loops down and hangs from one foot to peer into a hole in the trunk.

He chuckles a bit and back flips out of the tree landing on his feet on the ground without a problem. He looks up at her. "We should get back before he thinks we got lost."

She looks down, then lets go and drops, breaking her fall a few times and tucking into a ball before landing solidly on her butt.

Her cheeks imediately flame through her fur. "That wasn't supposed to happen."

He gives her a bright smile and helps her up before going back to Logan and handing him the green sticks.

The ancient warrior's been grubbing around while the kids got the sticks and played, finding good tasting plants to tuck into slits on the fish meat. Now he takes the sticks and sharpens them, then threads the meat on and plants the sticks over the fire at an angle. "Anybody wanna onion?" He points to where a couple of wild ones lay.

Uzulee wrinkles her nose and shakes her head, then tentitively pokes Alec in the ribs.

Alec shakes his head and makes a slight face before turning to Uzulee and giving a playful growl and pokes her right back.
