Logan looks around as they appear on the bank of a wide, tree-shadowed river, his senses reaching out to find any trace of danger that may be lurking nearby. Feeling content that there was none, he looked at the two kids clinging to him and listening to the silence all around them and chuckled. "Y'kin let go now."

Uzulee mews and pokes her face over, trying to snag some of the food, then squirms and turns to swat at her grandpa as he pokes her in the ribs.

"Change back, runt." He chuckles.

Alec just purrs contentedly and goes to eating some of what he has.

Uzulee switches to her full human form, then leans back against Alec and takes the fish Logan hands her.

He wraps a protective arm around her and eats some giving some to his kitty too if kitty!Alec wants any.

Uzulee bows her head and then starts to eat happily, eyes squinting shut in delight as she tastes how Logan's managed to flavor the meat.

"Y' still wanna do like ya said?" Logan asks her. "It's all gonna be Outside."

She pauses and glances up at the sky, then winces and looks down before nodding. "I want to."

"Y'did a good job takin' care'a my rock, kid," says Logan as Uzulee looks down at Alec. "Think y' could take care'a my granddaughter while she learns 'bout the Outside?"

Take care of a girl? Couldn't be harder than taking care of Max could it...? He gives Logan a smile. "I can take care of her."

"This's the first time she's ever ben outside." Logan pulls up a leg and waves a fish-garlanded stick to cool it off, his eyes on Alec's as Uzulee eats her own fish and pretends she's not being spoken about.
