In a new place.... again.

Kurt woke slowly, his head hurting and telling him about his restless night. He turned slightly in his book, and turned, looking up and seeing a large canopy above him. He blinked and looked up, to his surprise seeing a few globes of light hovering above him.

He sat up, finding himself fully clothed, and turned, pushing the curtains aside slightly, only to see Joy, curled up, asleep on the windowsill that only belonged in castles.

He slowly got up and eased off the bed, then went over, picking her up, careful of her wings, doing his best not to wake her as he lifted her and brought her over to the bed, putting her down on it and making her comfortable before he looked around, wondering where they were now.

"Every colour of the rainbow." She watched the big one fly away.

"Nice," he chuckled. "Are zey different flavors as vell?"

"It depends on vhat flowers they feed from." She realized how they were standing, but only sighed and lay her head against his shoulder again.

He blushed, then bit his lip.

"If I am ever being too forward," he said softly, touching her hand. "You only need tell me."

Joy looked at his fingers without moving her head, then tapped her own gently against his chest. "I think ve're alright." She sighed. "This feels happy."

He smiled and enjoyed the moment. "I'm glad ve feel ze same," he said softly.

She looked up at him with those bottomless black eyes, then twitched an ear backward slightly as the sound of small hooves reached her hearing. "Do ye see him?"

"See..." he stopped as he suddenly saw a glint, then looked over slowly, seeing a small, pure gold horse... only not a horse.... a unicorn?

"Mien Gott," he said softly, staring.
