Sardis Day One

random_xtrasI picked up my kitten from Glitch last night. At first I thought the little thing was sick or something, but then I realized that she was just too kitty for all the fuss that I was making. Weird was also smirking at me, but I am a mun, and I am immune to the smirks of puppets. Besides, if I can take care of this little purple farmyard kitten, she can earn enough berries to get all the pets she's geek over heels about.
This morning I was surprised to wake up overheated, despite sleeping with only a sheet for covering. Then I realized that my feet were rumbling. It turns out Sardis likes to cuddle. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, listened with a slight frown as I explained hot flashes and menopause to her, then pouted slightly and pointed out that there was no point in adopting a kitten if I'm not going to be nice to her. I told her I had every intention of dolly cuddling her at every opportunity, we just needed to have a little space when it came to the night time hot flash season. She rolled her eyes slightly, but I could tell that I was forgiven.
She likes the shower even more than my last cat. But then of course, my last cat was adorable, but she wasn't sentient. Ophelia used to get too freaked out by the slippery bathtub to be able to do more than sit on the side and wistfully watch me play in the water spray, Sardis sits there and asks for a little help getting the bar of soap to suds up enough so that she can wash her hair.
Shes sitting under the writing desk now, reading my 'My Little Pony Movie' graphic novel and purring to herself absently. I think we're going to get along just fine.
