World Outside Time: Four days later: Wedding
Firecracker watched as Sir James and Anmut exchanged rings, her fingers twitching with the urge to pet the hunter green velvet tunic that Sir James wore with black pants and a brown cloak with red satin lining. Next to him, Anmut wore a long strip of white satin wrapped around her body to make something that wasn't quite a dress but looked something like one with sideslits.
The funny coat and collar bowed, then clapped invisable hands together and turned to a page in the big Book which Sir James and Anmut wrote in. Firecracker's mama wrote in it next, and then everyone turned to her.
"Yer turn, lass," rumbled Sir James, smiling.
Firecracker blinked in alarm. "But I can't write."

"Shh, Wolvie, shh, it's ok, you're ok," she said softly.
Logan blinked, eyes opening to reveal only half sane eyes, although the claws slowly slid back out of sight, and he gave a bubbly cough, looking up at her in shock.
"Jubes?" he wheezed softly, almost too faint and blood-laden to hear.

"Jubes...," he said, staring at her as tears found thier way down his worn cheeks and he reached for her, his breathing struggling to keep up with the movement and the healing. "Yer really... here... Jubes... darlin'...."

Hours later
This was... so hard. After they'd calmed down she'd explained everything. From first meeting Chase, to falling for Hank and then having him ripped from her, surrounded by jeering voices, to discovering Elizabeth and then attacking Storm, and then what happened when she got here.
It was a marvel, in his opinion, she'd lasted as long as she did, and he finally understood what nobody else in the mansion could understand. Why the sweet, young, mischevious prankster had so brutally attacked Ororo it had kept her in the medbay for a week. Thinking about it, Logan decided he couldn't blame Jubilee for what happened. Nobody in their right mind could.
And now they were here, in this world with the older him, the winged woman, and a Sinister daughter of Jubee and Sabertooth. She insisted that she'd come from a "fluffy" Victor Creed... whatever that ment.
He sighed, then leaned and kissed the top of her head. She seemed able to reason, now, that she'd talked about everything. Maybe she could go back to the mansion, have a sit down with Storm, then get over to the Cafe and find her beau. It was a longshot... but even he could see that she needed it.
And, in the meantime, he would make sure to never, ever let her get depressed again without him knowing everything and doing all he could to help her. He'd lost her once, he didn't want to see her ever dead again until she was an old lady who'd lived her life and given him the chance to say a proper goodbye, and leave him with her kids and grandchildren to care for and watch grow old and have thier own children.

"What's wrong?" he asked.
"We gotta go tomorrow morning," she said softly. "Charlie said so."

"Y' know ya drink that it'll stunt yer growth," he told Jubee, who grinned and snatched it.
"Yeah. You Wolvies are real short. Wonder if we got to an alternate one who didn't drink, would he be taller than all you?" she said, then ducked the swat and giggled.
